Water God

I have found that connecting to something greater than me, brings balance and stability to my sacred human experience.

What exactly is a higher power? I don’t have the answer, however, I feel It can be interpreted in countless ways, ranging from a divine being in religious contexts to a universal energy that binds all living things together.

Regardless of one's belief system, the essence of a higher power lies in its ability to perceive past the illusion of serperatness and allow in feelings of being simultaneously deeply humbled and inspired to greatness. Small and insignificant in comparison to said high power while also feeling like you’re the most precious and magnificent aspect of the whole thing and you are so held. A drop in the ocean, the ocean in a drop, all at once.

To support myself in developing a relationship with the great mystery, that which cannot be named or even described, I have been creating a deep relationship with water. I have deep reverence for water, I see it as life, source, giver and taker. Cleansing and purifying while wildly destructive.

I love the theory that water arrived on planet earth on a comet. Water from the stars.

Water, eternal and ever-flowing, symbolizes the cyclical nature of life and the constant state of change that we all experience. Just as water can take on various forms, so too can our perception of a higher power adapt to meet our evolving needs and beliefs.

Water's ability to self-purify through the natural water cycle reflects the inherent capacity for growth and renewal that comes with embracing a sacred connection to the unknown. By opening ourselves up to this relationship, we allow for healing and transformation to take place within our hearts and minds.

Without water, life as we know it would cease to exist. Similarly, without a connection to something greater than ourselves, we risk losing touch with the essence of our humanity and the interconnected web of existence that binds us all together. Just as water holds memory within its molecular structure, so too do we carry the imprint of our sacred connection to the great mystery within our very beings.

Thank you Sacred Water. Thank you for my life. Thank you for all the precious I will eat today and every day. Thank you water for being so beautiful omnipresent.
